Several major improvements on the Golf course have recently been completed. A new state of the art irrigation system, resurfacing of all 18 greens with championship grass, selective hole redesign and drainage work are just some of the improvements. These upgrades make Northern Hills Golf Club one of the most challenging courses in San Antonio. The new ultra-dwarf mini-verde Bermuda grass putting surfacethe same surface formerly used at TPC Sawgrass in Florida where The PGA Tournament is played every year. Other improvements included a series of new fairway and greens bunkers that complement the improvements already completed.
